The multi-map technology developed by DTE Systems can optimise up to nine channels in real time – whether common rail or boost pressure, turbo pressure, intake manifold pressure or air mass. PowerControl controls the most technologically demanding engines of the latest generation in a multi-dimensional multi-map with all relevant engine parameters perfectly. That technology is applied to up to three driver-selectable programs with 7 power levels each. PowerControl X works roughly 4x faster and 5x more precisely than its predecessors.

DTE performance upgrades can be installed in just a few easy steps. Retrofitting to the factory stock condition is possible at any time. Thus, the performance increase in case of a vehicle change can be used again in your next boat. Our service includes free reprogramming for a new boat change as follows: 1 x PowerControl, 2 x PowerControl X. Should the new boat be significantly different a new cable harness might be required and subject to an additional cost.

The new performance enhancement gives you the choice of two different fully customisable modes: Sport and Dynamic.

Sport
In Sport mode, all engine parameters are tuned for maximum performance. The engine reacts more directly for a responsive boating experience.

Dynamic
The Dynamic mode is a true all-rounder and well-balanced for long-distance trips. The engine responds more dynamically for more agility in every speed range. Fuel consumption savings of up to 8% is achievable.

The next generation of smart tuning

In addition to the keypad, the PowerControl X and RX can now also be controlled from the comfort of the captain’s seat. The following functions are included:

• On and Off function of the PowerControl X or RX via smartphone
• Changing the Driving Programs Sport, Dynamic, Efficiency
• Selecting any of the 7 fine tuning settings
• With configurable warm-up timer, where you determine when the DTE tuning starts
• Once adjusted, the memory functions enables the last selected program and setting without the need for constant mobile connectivity
